Laundry Fun

One of Payton's favorite things right now is when I do laundry... haha. She loves to lay down & have me throw clean laundry on top of her. It sounds kind of mean but she really does enjoy it!She laughs & laughs when I say, "oh sorry!" She is so funny.

3 months old

Three months old...already?!?! I can't believe it!

Payton has this new thing lately where she loves to pull up her dress & try to eat it haha. Anytime she doesn't have a onesie on, she will yank up her dress & suck on it. It is so funny! And she is drooling everywhere lately...teething?!?! Surely not yet, but we will see :) She also loves to hang out with daddy after work & watch some sports.

Friday Night Fun

On Friday night Mike & I decided to walk from our house through town to a new ice cream place. We had so much fun! We had to bundle Payton up because it is getting a lot chillier now...brr! Payton loved looking up at the trees... it was so cute :)

No pics for now...sorry..but I just had to say...YAAYYY!!!!!! I am soooo excited...my family is coming to visit us in October & I CANT WAIT! :) We miss them a lot & Payton will love seeing her Nana, Papa, & aunties, & Uncle Rusty! Pics will come soon when I get batteries for my camera haha.

11 weeks old

Well our "little" Payton Emma is almost 3 months old! Hard to believe that she is getting sooo big sooo fast. Her personality is really starting to shine now & every day something new happens in her world! She is bebcoming more aware of her surroundings & loves to "talk" to people & toys. Her favorite toy is a little smiling flower that hangs on her play mat. Mike & I think that she thinks it is her friend haha..and she spends a lot of time in the mornings smiling & talking to her "friend." She still loves to be held, but also likes to lay out on her back & look around. Her favorite thing to do is go outside! Payton does not like naptime & I can't get her to sleep for more than an hour at a time during the day...haha..there is just too much fun stuff for her to explore! Mike & I love our sweet little girl & every time she smiles I wonder what I would ever do without my precious little honey bear :) She is also starting to "laugh" now, which is sooo hilarious to hear!

Craft Fair Sept 11th

Well our 1st craft fair as the Crafty Mamas was a success!!! We had so much fun selling our products that we have spent so much time laboring over haha. So the countless hours spent working away, peanut m&ms, too many take out meals to count, lots of "daddy/baby days," a lot of driving back & forth from Linn to Jeff City all paid off in the end!!! :) We are hoping that this is just the start of something great!

Big Surf

We got to go to Big Surf water park on Labor Day with our friends Jay & Kati & daughter Audrey, Kirk & Angela, John, & Bev. We were blessed with free tickets from Kirk & Angela, which was awesome!!! We had a great time on the water slides & in the wave pool. Payton did great & slept most of the day in her stroller, while we all took turns watching her & doing rides. Then she & I hung out & played with Kati & baby Audrey (10 months old) in the shade. We had a fun day in the sun!
