Showing off at 9 months old

Such a show off right?! Loving her new boots that we are borrowing from my cousin Jen & little Lanae. She didn't know quite what to think of them because I never put shoes on her!

My 1st real "ouchy"

Payton is quite the explorer now... we call her "Payton the Explorer!" She crawls everywhere & gets into everything. She can even pull herself up to stand with just a little "help." Here is a picture of her first real bonk to the head from the coffee table. Ouch!

Park

Today Payton's Auntie Bev came over & we went across the street to the park. Payton went down the slide a couple times... she loves being outside SO much. She was enamored by this litlte boy that was playing there & I could hardly get her to look at me to take pictures haha.

Working with daddy

Today was the first day this year that Payton & I went to visit Mike at the job. It was 75 degrees today, which was amazing & Payton was loving it!!! She just kicked her legs & jabbered like crazy when we got out of the car to see Mike & her Uncle Kenny. Also, there was a friendly dog there that she was just tickled with!

My little reader...

I love how Payton likes books now! She just soaks it all in (for a short amount of time that is). This book is her favorite because she can feel all of the animals hair. Her favorite pages are the ones with the kitten, puppy, monkey, & bunny on it!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Wearing green for St. Patty's Day today!!! Didn't want Payton to get pinched haha.
She is exploring a lot now!!! Here are a few of the best pictures I could take today without her moving around like crazy! Such a wiggle worm! She loves to makes messes now & "explore". Today her adventure was unloading a cabinet full of tupperware, etc. She LOVED it!

Weekend Play time

We were at Jay & Kati's house on Saturda & Sunday this weekend & Payton loved playing with Audrey! On saturday Mike went to the KU/Mizzou basketball game with Kati's dad Kirk & we hung out at the house with kati, Audrey, & Kati's mom Angela. Here is a picture of Audrey & Payton "sharing" Angela's lap.
This other picture is Audrey's cat "playing" with Payton (she LOVES cats... she pulls their hair until they run!) Amanda, Kati, & I spent Sunday after noon getting ready to launch the Crafty Mamas on etsy.com! yay!

Muddy fun!

The other day we were sitting outside enjoying the nice weather & I was on the phone. Next thing I know, Payton has handfuls of mud, sticks, & leaves... & yes she was eating it!!! I am used to her crawling all over my lap since she is such a wiggle worm & I was distracted by my phone cal! Ha! She was quite proud of herself as you can see from this picture!
