Home made Dress

I have officially made Payton a dress! I must say that I feel quite accomplished with myself! With a few hours & some guidance from my mother in law, I successfully did it! And it really isn't too bad!

Our Active Little Girl

On Easter we "tried" to create a barrier to the door so that Payton wouldn't get knocked over when people came in & out. As you can see... it did not really work!
Payton also loves to sit at Grandma's door & bang on it at the puppy! She loovvves animals!

Easter

2 Things to note about these pictures:
1st- Payton gave me the BEST gift ever on Easter & fell asleep on my lap during the Easter breakfast at church. This NEVER happens anymore so I really enjoyed it!
2nd- It is SO hard to take pictures of Payton anymore... she is asuch a wiggle worm!

"What Mom??"

One of Payton's favorite things to do now is unload any type of container of ALL of its contents! I basically follow her all around the house picking up her messes :) She absolutely Loves to do this!

itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny , yellow polka dot bikini!!!" LOL. Mike & I went to a huge sale for baby stuff last Saturady & we could NOT resist getting this bathing suit for our Texas Summer vacation this July. Mike said this is the only time she is ever allowed to wear a bikini haha! However, I don't think it will be fitting her much longer!!!

Payton's Buddies

We had a great time with our friends last Friday night... I think the kiddos did too! Payton, Audrey, & Samuel love to play together!!! Little baby Bohman will just have to wait until he is bigger to join in on the fun that these 3 have :) I think from the looks of these pictures though, Sam might be a little scared of these 2 crazy girls! ha!

April Flowers

I love that the weather is getting so nice now! Today is 80 degrees! Here are a few pictures of some of the pretty flowers at the house so far.

Our little Comedian

So Payton has learned a new trick... she makes the most hilarious face, while raising her eyebrows & somehow Mike managed to snap 2 photos of her doing it! It is probably the funniest thing I have ever seen! We were laughing sooo hard at her last night, which of course only made her do it more. She gets this funny look & raises her eyebrows up.. SO cute!

Best Buddies

The other night we wnet to our friends' house & Audrey thought she needed to meausure Payton's head with her new baby brother's wrst band from the hospital lol. They play so well together now that Payton is getting bigger. I love to watch them interact! Payton wasn't quite sure what to think of newborn Bohman though. She busrt into tears when Mike wouldn't let her grab his face... shwe thought he was a baby doll! We will have to protect him from these 2 girls for now!

Standing!

Payton can now stand up by herself.. which is a little bit scary for mommy. She pulls herslef up everywhere now! She has tried to take a few steps if she is holding onnto to something sturdy & sometimes she will puch herslef up off her knees into a "bear" crawl position. Cant believe how fast she is growing!

Grocery Shopping

Grocery shopping is a lot more fun now that Payton rides in the front of the cart... for both of us! She looks so cute & sooo big! She sure gets a lot of attention too :)

Garden Friends

On Sunday we went to a cute nursery about 15 min away to but flowers & veggie plants for our garden! Payton wore her "Garden Friends" romper to celebrate the occasion.. also because it was SO hot again! She seriously would NOT look at the camera during this outing & we tried very unsuccesfully to take pictures of her ha!

Cheer up!

My family went back home of Saturday & I was kind of sad, so Mike took Payton & I out to cheer us up! He is so sweet. We went to lunch at Chipotle (yum!) and bought more materials for our deck! Then we went on a nice walk & enjoyed the weather. It was 90 degrees on Saturday!!!

Baby Bo

Baby Bohman is finally here!!! Born to our good friends Jay & Kati. He is so cute & we love him already! He is welcomed by Payton's best friend: big sister Audrey. SO happy he is here!
Also I forgot to add this picture of my dad & Payton with her Easter gift ( aduck easter basket) that she absolutely LOVED! She would not take her eyes off it & struggled until we handed it back to her! haha

Visitors!

We loved having my family visit from COl ast week! We really enjoyed seeing them & just spending time together as a family. We took Payton & Jude (the baby I babysit twice a wk) to a program at the Nature Center called "Babes in the Woods" which was really fun. Payton got to see all kinds of bugs & grubs! she even held a bug & did not try to squish or eat it! We took a lot of walks i the beautiful weather, went shopping, & ate lots of yummy food :) Payton's grandma Hostetler is also making her a dress & so Payton had to try on her cousin Kierra's dress first to make sure that it fit just right! I think its pretty sweet. We really miss my family already & cant wait to see them in July!!! Love you!

Payton the "Explorer"

Payton's 9 month photo shoot was a blast because it was outside!!! (finally!) My best friend Kati does such an amazing job getting pictures (even at 9 months preggo!) of such an active little girl like Payton! I am serious- she ate pretty much everything in site & would hardly even look at the camera for 2 seconds! She basically loved being at the park! She & Audrey had sooo much fun playing & Kati & I were pretty wore out by the time we called it a day lol.
This week is going to be an exciting one bcause my family from CO is coming to visit tomorrow! yay! We are just as anxious as can be waiting for them to get here! Also, Kati is due with baby #2 on April 9th, but we would be fine if little boy Bo decided to come today!!!
