8 months old

Here are a few pictures of our "sassy" little girl! I love how cheesy she is being for the camera :) She is quite the wiggle worm these days & will hardly let anyone hold her because she would much rather be playing on the floor! She is still working on the crawling thing & can get on one knee really well now! Still waiting for her to get it all figured out though. She also loves to "voice her opinion" these days... meaning her sooo sweet/adorable baby talk as well as her not so sweet screams lol! We are loving watching her grow & change every day! Hard to believe she will be 8 months old tomorrow!!!! (P.S. I thought my sisters Misty & Karima would like Payton's new "kitty" shirt that she is wearing in 2 of tehse pics)

Bath time... disaster!!!

Thi sweet picture was taken because I was trying show how crazy her "hair" looked durng her bath time... right before she POOPED in the tub! Yuck!!! Mike & I were just quietly sitting there reading magazines when all of a sudden I noticed how quiet she was. We looked up to see her little face concentrating on something very seriously. I said, "Miikkkee... what is she doing?" We quick lifted her up & sure enough poop everywhere! LOL. I guess those prunes really worked!

My Little Gymnast

I love these pictures because it looks like Payton is stretching for Gymnastics! Really though she is practicing going from sitting up to laying down on her tummy & maneuvering all around! She is not crawling yet, but is scooting more & more every day. I also love this picture of her big cheesy grin... it really shows off her 2 little teeth!

Friends Fun

On Sunday we went to our friends' Jay & Kati's house to spend the day with them. We had a great time of feloowship eating lunch & going on a wonderful walk in the 60 degree weather!! What a nice change to the freezing cold we have been having! Payton's friends are Jay & Kati's little girl Audrey (1 year & 1/ 2 old) & soon to be born baby boy Bohman (2 more months!!!)

Happy Valentines Day!

Payton "made" her daddy a special card for valentines day that had her hand prints on it (which was a mess to make!) and said "My heart belongs to daddy" :) The inside said "Will you be my Valentine? Mommy said she'll share!" He loved it!
Mike & I got to go out for valentines day on Saturday night & we went to dinner at Red Lobter yum! We also went to the movies. I seriously had sooo much fun with Mike on our date! Not really sure when the last time was that we got to spend so much alone time together! lol Thanks to Brendon for watching Payton while we went out!

A Castle for a Princess...

Mike decided that every little princess needs her own castle so he made her one with all of the mounds of snow we have! It was So cute! Then we bundled Payton up (which took forever I might add) & ventured outside with er... keeping in mind that she is sick & shouldn't be out very long. Let's just say that she did not enjoy the castle as much as we did haha. She liked it at first until she remembered she was sick & the proceded to cry when Mike threw a snowball at me haha! Oh well.

Surprise from Nana & Papa!

Payton (and I) loved getting a package from my family in CO!!! She likes to pull stuff out of boxes.. sometimes she is more interested in the packaging than what is on the inside though lol. They sent a lot of really cute clothes for her to wear including some adorable boots & a polka dot rain coat! Thanks SO much!!! We love them! (P.S. these pictures show Payton's fever in her red cheeks :(.. poor little girl)

Poor, sick baby :(

This picture is so precious... Payton hardly ever falls asleep in our arms anymore. Lately though, she has been doing that more often because she is under the weather. Poor thing. She has been fighting a stuffy/runny nose & cough. Can't wait til she feels better!!!

Snow, snow, snow!

Here are a couple pictures to show how much snow we have gotten here lately!!! Over 20 some inches! Needless to say it was fun, but we are SO over it now! We are also SO over the cold temperatures!!! It is very pretty though & we enjoyed staying at Mike's parents house for the big blizzard!!!
