Payton also got to meet her Auntie Moni & Uncle Keith this week! Payton has loved all of the attention :) Here are a few pics from Mike's brother Kenny's wedding reception..it is very hard to a get a picture of all kids haha! It was nice to have all of the cousins together though!

My two nieces from CO are here visiting & got to meet their new cousin, Payton! They absolutely love her & are always wanting to hold her & kiss her:) They helped me give her a bath one morning , which was very fun. They also bought Payton her very own doll that is just her size haha!

3 weeks old

Payton Emma will be 3 weeks old tomorrow which is sooo hard to believe!!! She is getting so big already! Yesterday she wore her first 0-3 month outfit (instead of newborn). I have already found myself crying that my little girl is growing up so fast, but also so excited for each new stage. The first 2 weeks of being a new parent is for sure the hardest & we are now settling into somewhat (lol) of a routine. Sometimes she wants to eat every hour, while others she goes up to 4 hours. At night she is usually waking up every 3-5 hours to eat so we cant complain about that! She loves to hold her head up already, but is also very cuddly. Her favorite place to sleep is right by her daddy, with a hand on his face or chest. Her first real smile was at 1 week old & today I got 2 pics of her smiling! She is so sweet :)

Payton & Clare

Here are a few pics of Payton & her friend Clare :) Clare was born to our good friends Matt & Sarah J 2 1/2 weeks before Payton. It is so nice having friends that have a baby the same age as Payton! Taking pics of the 2 of them was hilarious because Payton kept hitting Clare & Clare kept trying to suck on Payton's hands lol. We love our littel blessing!

Bath time!

For the first week of Payton's life we just gave her a bath with a washcloth since her cord stump hadn't fallen off yet. Then we proceeded to bathe her in her pink tub from her Aunt Moni in the sink. However...she did not enjoy it very much & would cry the whole time! But today we have made progress! She absolutely loved her bath today!!! She just layed their in the warm water looking SO cute! Here are a few pics from her first "enjoyed" bath experience :)

Payton Emma 12 days old..8 lbs 8 oz!!!

This morning Payton & I dragged ourselves out of bed & headed into Jefferson City to spend time with our good friends Kati & baby Audrey, & Amanda (& soon to be baby boy Sam). The 3 of us are planning on starting a new business selling all kinds of baby stuff & we spent the morning working out the "logistics," (I know..sounds very professional right?!) Although I don't know how much help I was in my sleep deprived state lol. Here are a few oics of Payton modeling some of our products :)
