Just another day at the Farm...

Last week my sweet friend Megan asked if she could take Payton along with her out to her mom's farm for the day. I had been having a rough week, so I was very thankful & I knew that the day would be good for Payton as well! She picked her up the next morning & they were gone until 2:30 that afternoon. Payton had an absolute blast seeing all of the animals & just getting dirty out on the farm! She just loves animals! So, after that day we all decided that it would be fun to all go out the farm one evening as families. Well- we did just that this past Saturday evening! It had rained ALOT the few days before so it was supper muddy... which I think the kids thought was even better! lol. We spent the evening seeing chickens, 1 day old kittens, cows, goats, horses, & a pony. I got to try milking a cow & tasted goat's milk also. We went on pony rides & just had a wonderful time outside! Made me miss my parents' & grandparents' house next door to them with all of their animals & farm like atmosphere! We had a great time & by the end of the night Payton & Audrey were just covered in mud. But, that is the best part about beeing a kid right?! Having fun, getting messy, & exploring! And someday Mike & I will have our own farm where Payton can do that as much as she wants!
