34 quarts of corn later...

On Monday evening Mike, Payton, & I went to Mike's parents house to help pick, shuck, & clean sweet corn from his mom's garden. Payton was very intrigued by this, as she absolutely loves corn on the cob. It is sooo funny o watch her eat it... she really "goes to town" on it! She was also treated like a queen by 2 of her favorite kids ever- Katelynn & Ethan. They set her up in her "royal" wagon & pulled her around the driveway while we worked.
Then on Tuesday during the day Payton & I joined my mom in law and sister in law in cooking, cutting off, & bagging the corn to freeze. Bev & I each got 17 quart bags full! We will probably be doing the rest of the corn this weekend. Oh how I love fresh sweet corn!
