Yesterday Payton & I went to "Babes in the Woods" at the Nature Center with Kati, Audrey, Bo, & Megan. I know I have said this before, but it is so nice that the Center does these classes every month for free! This time the kids "learned" about fish! We took them on a nature walk to the little pond & they got to put their feet in. They also got to touch a fake fish. Payton & Audrey really wanted to jump in the pind and swim ha! Then the kids got to use nets to try to catch little minnows- I was a little scared that Payton was either going to squish the poor fish with her net or fling one of them out of the water! Luckily neither of the these happened :) They also got to use "fishing poles" to catch "fish" with their magnets. Payton caughte her first Big One! lol
It was such a beautiful day so after the class Kati, Megan, & I stopped at Sonic to pick up lunch & headed to the park with the little ones. It was so nice to be able to relax (as much as we could with 3 little kids) with the girls & spend some time outside! What a great day!
On a sadder note- please be praying for Mike's mom- she just had surgery yesterday to remove two tumors & is in a lot of pain! Be praying that the surgery takes care of everything & that her recovery is not too long & painful.
